How a DMA setup works, step by step — the complete beginner's guide
Before you buy anything, make sure you have: Two PCs — a main PC (Primary) that runs the game and a second PC (Secondary) that runs the DMA software, plus a free PCIe x1 slot on the main PC's motherboard.
Step 1: Choose the right components
DMA card — choose based on your budget
- Captain DMA 75T (SAR 740) — the best place to start, high stability, compatible with most firmware
- DMA 100T — for pros who want the highest performance
- Heino 1.2 Elite (SAR 2,599) — a complete, ready-to-run solution
Firmware — choose based on your game
- Play Valorant? → Dedicated Valorant Firmware
- Play COD, Fortnite, or more than one game? → All-In-One Firmware
- Want support for every anti-cheat system? → Slotted Firmware or All-In-One with IOMMU Bypass
Second PC (Secondary PC)
A Mini PC is the best choice — small, inexpensive, and takes up no space. Make sure it has at least a quad-core processor, a minimum of 8GB RAM, and Windows 10/11.
Step 2: Install the DMA card
- Shut down the main PC and unplug it from power completely
- Open the case and find a free PCIe x1 slot on the motherboard
- Gently insert the DMA card into the slot until it seats
- Secure the card with the screw at the back
- Close the case and plug the power back in
Caution: Don't touch the card's metal parts with your bare hands — use a grounding strap or wear anti-static gloves.
Step 3: Connect the two PCs
Via USB (easiest): Connect a USB-C cable from the DMA card directly to the second PC.
Via LAN (for some devices, such as Heino 2.0): Connect a network cable between the two PCs, either through a switch or directly.
Step 4: Flash the firmware to the card
This is the most important step. The firmware determines how the game and the anti-cheat “see” the card.
- Turn on the second PC and make sure it detects the card
- Open the firmware software you bought from DMA Saudi
- Select the card from the drop-down list
- Click Flash and wait for it to finish (usually 2-5 minutes)
- Restart the first PC once flashing is complete
Important: Don't turn off the PC while flashing the firmware — it could damage the card.
Step 5: Run the DMA software
- Make sure the card shows up in Device Manager on the second PC
- Install the required drivers (they come with the firmware)
- Run the DMA software for your game
- Check that the software is reading data correctly
Step 6: Calibrate the setup
- Adjust mouse sensitivity if you're using a mouse emulator
- Test stability on the first PC — make sure the game runs normally
- Check the second PC's performance — it should run below 50% CPU usage
Common errors and fixes
The card doesn't show up on the second PC
Make sure the card is seated properly in the slot, try another PCIe slot, and check that the cable works.
The firmware won't flash
Temporarily disable antivirus software on the second PC, run the software as Administrator, and make sure you're using the right firmware for your card.
The game crashes after installation
Make sure the firmware is compatible with your game's anti-cheat, try reflashing the firmware, or contact the DMA Saudi team on WhatsApp for tech support.
Tips for the best performance
